The current World Slalom Record is 1@ 43' off and was set on a Connelly F1. Jamie Beauchesne tied this world record on July 5 2003 at Trophy Lakes in Charleston South Carolina using a stock out-of-the-box F1. Need we say more? At 43' off the rope handle is 5.5' short of the buoy when pulled straight out from the pylon. Rounding a buoy at this rope length is an amazing accomplishment and it took place on an amazing ski.
