WHY DO I WANT THIS BOARD?
StepCap Construction: StepCap is SC's signature construction with over six years of proven performance. StepCap absorbs the shock of rough terrain, just like your car or bike shocks. StepCap achieves this by removing the rigidity of wood on the board's edge and replacing it with a thinner construction. When the StepCap board is on edge, the edges flex slightly to the contours of the snow and offer a much better edge grip than traditional constructions. StepCap is significantly noticeable in icy halfpipes, inconsistent snow and choppy transitions.
Feather Core: Vertically laminated poplar strips, the feather core is the ideal and versatile all mountain answer.
Feather Fiberglass: Bulletproof biaxial weave made for big mountain shredding. No compromises made in strength or weight. Light as a feather, stiff as a board.
Sintered 2000 Base: Stoneground and versatile, this base holds wax well and is faster than Jeff Gordon. Easy to fix and treat, and dense enough to resist core shots. This base offers a no friction, fun glide.
Backscreened Duraclear Topsheet: By screening their graphics on the inside of the topsheet, SC graphics resists scratches and wear.
Wrapped Edges: Keep swing weight down, are super resistant to breakage, maintain flexible tips and tails, and help initiate turns.

WHO IS IT FOR? The paperboy who has been saving all summer. The mom who demands SC fun for the whole family, without kicking down a mint for a solid ride and cool graphics.
WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? All mountain freedom for any-style rider. SC brought back some old skate graphics from the grave and are offering traditional styles. Directional shape, medium flex, and medium sidecut, the C is on.
WHEN & WHERE DO I RIDE IT? Big mountain, medium mountain, small mountain. Backyard? All mountain.

360 Degree Cap Construction: The best start up package SC could find (minus the ski school lesson). This cap construction is inexpensive and has a softer flex for easy turn initiation.
Stock Core: Easy handling poplar woodcore mixed with light composite. SC's lightweight, Stock Core makes turning a snap, but is strong enough for the big dogs to ride.
Stock Fiber: This biaxial fiber is a freerider's dream. Softer flexing for easy turning, but strong enough for hardslamming .
Sintered 2000 Electra Base: Sotneground and versatile, this base holds wax well, is easy to treat and wax, and dense enough to resist core shots.
